我是清谦
我的名字是清谦。我今年17岁，就读史瓦济兰ACC圆通学校中二。我很高兴能到新加坡与当地的同学们进行文化交流。这对我来说是很不容易的一个机会，让我可以学到很多不同的文化。
我离开家的时候，奶奶叮嘱我“要用功读书，完成你的目标，好好照顾弟弟。在新的大家庭里，要对每一个人有礼貌。”我一直都有好好听奶奶的话。
老师都说我是一个有礼貌、善良、友好、很努力的学生。我的座右铭是‘三思而后行’，在做事情之前会先思考，这样让我避免犯许多错误。我的兴趣是练功夫、踢足球、听音乐、看小说、还有在网络上收集资料。我发现做这些事让我很充实，也让我很高兴。
我的梦想是当一名飞机师，因为我可以到很多国家看不同的东西、学习不同的文化、认识不同国家的人、交很多的朋友。而且，飞机师的薪水不错，我就可以拿来孝顺辛苦的奶奶，改善家人的生活。另外，我也可以捐一部分给ACC，帮助更多像我们一样贫苦无依的孤儿。为了成为一名专业的飞机师，我要很努力、很用功地念书。所以我喜欢学习，因为我知道只有教育才能让我走向成功。
My name is Mthobisi Dzimba. I am 17 years old and I am in Form 2 in Yuan Tong High School. I am very delighted to come to Singapore for the school exchange programme. I believe that this is a once in a lifetime opportunity and which I will be able to learn a lot about other cultural practices.
Before I left home, my grandmother said, “Study hard to achieve your goals, look after your brother and respect everyone in your new home.” I will always remember my promises to her.
My teachers said that I’m a respectful, kind, friendly and hard-working student. My motto is “Think before you act”, I always think before I do anything, this helps me to avoid mistakes. My hobbies are Kungfu, soccer, listening to music, reading novels and doing research on the internet, which I felt happy and contented.
My dream is to become a pilot who can fly to many countries, to see the different things around the world and make friends of another country. On the other hand, being a pilot pays well. I can use it to support my grandmother and improve the lives of my family. I can also contribute to ACC so that it can help more vulnerable orphans like me. In order to become a professional pilot, I have to study harder to broaden my knowledge, as I strongly believe that education is the key to success.
